Never mind lah. Already booked appointment at jurong for tomorrow. Furthermore, i have confirmed the service charged from one of the bro who did there. His final bill including parts and labour excluding engine oil works out to be $600+. He did that in dec 06 which can be considered recently.

I have compared the timing bearing (Genuine Made in Japan) with the OEM. The difference is that the OEM come with only the main part without the 2 smaller components (As shown in the pic in pg 1). May be that is why it is cheaper Basketball

Anyway, Wong from KM at JAI quoted me labour for 80k is S$280 w/o gst. Parts on your own...

He verbally quoted me, from my first list inside except ATF and engine oil... will costs me abt 860.. i last check on Jan 07. He never give me any parts list.

I think i m the only one... was kinda pissed with Wong, long story... anyway gotta over it... But KM, PUI!! they suck!

KM servcing this is the final time i'm visiting them regardless how good some of the bros claim particular SA. Never met Wong as he is on course today.

Think they any how quote people. From phone quote me the price of the water pump to be S$100, but when i was there, they turn their words telling me the part cost $120 cyclops

For information. If intend to let KM service yr ride at 80k this is the breakdown of their labour charges. Of course, you can opt whether you want certain changes or not. I shall provide my own opinion after physically examine the removed part at 80k from my ride.

1. Basic Service S$48
(To replace engine oil & filter)

2. 80k required - power train S$112
(To replace fuel strainer)

3. 80k required - Control Mechanism system S$70

4. Replace all belting including timing belt S$130
replace water pump assy

Total labour charges S$360

If not for my engine mounts, wont even bother looking at KM... but in the end, only get to replace 1 engine mounts n need to fork out own pocket money to replace the other one! Mad

i was on reservice n one of the nsmen tell me, he used to drive civic es also... he only go back to agent for service, and only in KM ubi. He even go back after warranty period...

They charge him 80k servicing for about 970... he cant remember wat they did... but he got a shock when he got the bill. lolx

KM sucks... service engr sucks... Too bad some here sware by it but, I only believe in Honda not the local distributor.. We all are Fucked bcause there is only one dam place to purchase one... go figure! Mad

Yes... Wong did suan me like who ask u do ur 80k servicing outside? n said CONFIRMED is ur mechanic damaged the mounts... i was there watching them carry out the works n i spotted the engine mounts crack before he removed anything!

Just curious, how you know your engine mount got problem?
Violent virbation during idling? Or others?
