This morning at around 9.10am travelling on CTE towards SLE, saw a silver altis with lowered suspension chasing and pushing a YRV.

The YRV is pretty fast (wonder if it has turbo) with the altis behind. Feeling bored, i also chased after them for show and fun (keeping myself the last car) tongue What a Face

Guess they are surprised, to notice a third car is involved as well Surprised
When exiting towards PIE, the YRV purposely slowed down and let the altis over take him and push him along the bend towards PIE. I guess they continued their friendly along PIE as i exit towards upper seragoon. So no more story to cover Embarassed

At least some spark for a boring morning santa

If it's turbo YRV, i think the Altis got to try very hard to keep up. The YRV turbo is reasonably powerful and light.

but its height is its archilles heel....if the cornering is not properly executed, it will easily turn turtle de....Cool

i've said b4 mah.....anyone can do straights.....jus pedal to metal.......but for corners.....u nid skills, balls as well as a capable chasis n suspensions.....afro

yrv may be fast, but i heard it got shit brakes. wanted to buy, but test route not enuf space to speed up and shoulder space was crap. ca't have everything...

ever come across this t-shirt slogan... quite popular in the past "I may be fat but you're ugly, and I can diet." i think in the yrv's case, can upgrade the brakes and buy proper shocks... but the car, though pretty by subaru standards, still not quite good looking enough.... but it's individual taste la

Laughing I don't really fancy YRV. Anywhere, this model of car very rare on the road. Meeting one on road is like striking 4D What a Face
