Re-certify of SS exhaust??

Hi anyone can tell me the process of re-certifying a SS with cert if i got it as a second hand?? E.g. do i need to go back to JC to install and get them to bring for certification?? usually how many hands(re-sale) later then LTA will reject the certification??

I think u need JC to write u a letter
INstall than bring the letter with the Supersprint cert for inspection

I did mine 2 months ago @ JC, they did type a letter & you will need to bring the receipt from JC on your installation bcos the inspector will ask for it. I think its better to go JC, bcos they will bring the car for inspection & they also know the staff @ the inspection centre.

I did mine 2 months ago @ JC, they did type a letter & you will need to bring the receipt from JC on your installation bcos the inspector will ask for it. I think its better to go JC, bcos they will bring the car for inspection & they also know the staff @ the inspection centre.

oic... by the way how much did JC charge you??? and for the inspection have to make appiontment or can go anytime??

INspection can be anytime during their operation hours

They charge me 90 bucks for transferring the exos from another car to mine. Then, inspection can be anytime during their operating hours.

No need for the letter from JC. LTA side never even borther to look at it also.

Most important you will need the original LTA approved cert for that muffler from the owner. Show to them and if your car has no illegal mods, they take pics and will approve.

Everything done in less than 30mins.

so that means i can take the risk of fixing the SS at other workshop??..
