5)Timing belts
6)Timing belts' bearings

This is some info extract from shc.
http://www.shc-forum.com/viewtopic.php?t=70970&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=75

04145 plc-315 bearing @ 68 14520-PLC-305 T/Bearing @ 55, this is the OEM parts, that time they don't have the original parts for bearing

14400 plm 014 timing belt @ 33 @30

h5699 plm t01 power steering belt @ 10 56992-PLM-004 @ 33 provided by KM

38920 plc 003 aircon belt @ 16 MUSHIBOSHI 4MBK @ 18, TS does not carry original part for a/c and p/s belt, this one can used.

water pump @ 75 (Quoted $100 by km)
19200-PLM-A01 @ 70, pls change as there is no extra labour charges, if touch wood water pump breakdown before your next 80k servicing, u r going to pay a bomb to get it change as the labour is as intensive as 80k servicing.

Va. cover gasket 12341-PLC-000 @ 7, this one must buy if u r changing water pump.

Fuel strainer 16010-S5A-932 @ 38, this one is recommended to change every 40k, pls change as there is no extra labour charges.

Coolant 3 bottles @ $7ea, this one must buy if u r changing water pump.

erm.... brake fluids do not use dot3. I dun think original honda brake fluid is dot3... if in doubt pls get your mechanic to do a full flush and refill with dot4 brake fluid. do not use dot3, and do not mix dot4 into dot3 or something you are not sure what it is... this is a safety message... mixing dots brake fluid may cause brake system failure...

it's also good to periodically drain. flush and change brake fluid.

for normal driving dot4 is good enough...

I will be going for 80k servicing tomorrow at wong.

Until then, i don't have much information to share except some advise from bros who did their 80k servicing with km or other ws.

One bro advised that the difference in cost is not much when compared with ws and km (of cos not all km svc centre). Was quoted $710 for all the labour ($330-$360)+ parts excluding engine oil, engine oil filter & ATF.

Just went today to grab some of the parts from the honda stocklister.
I'm not a very good at bargaining, hence, can't achieve the very good pricing some bros managed to get. Nonetheless, this is for information only.

2. 08 C04 EX100 Honda pre-mixed coolant (Made in S'pore) cost $7 per litre

3. 12341 PLC 000 Genuine Honda part (Made in Thailand) VA Cover Gasket (rubber seal) cost S$9.86

4. 1610 S5A 932 Genuine Honda part (Made in Japan) Fuel Filter cost S$40

5. 1440 PLM 014 Genuine Honda part (Made in Japan) Timing belt cost S$32

6. 19200 PLM A01 Genuine Honda part (Made in Japan) Water pump cost S$75 (KM priced S$168.10)

7. 56992 PLM 004 Genuine Honda part (Made in Japan) Power Steering Belt cost S$44 (KM Priced)

8. 38920 PLC 003 Genuine Honda part (Made in Japan) Compressor Belt cost S$60 (KM Priced)

9. 15400 PLC 505 HAMP Engine Oil Filter (OEM) cost S$7

Shocked Shocked Shocked

I talked to wong this afternoon and that is the labour charges he quoted. If you refer to the thread from SHC which some bros did their 80k servicing at the same place, they are quoted $260 +++ for labour.

May be km has up their pricing. But who knows scratch scratch scratch

Never mind lah. Already booked appointment at jurong for tomorrow. Furthermore, i have confirmed the service charged from one of the bro who did there. His final bill including parts and labour excluding engine oil works out to be $600+. He did that in dec 06 which can be considered recently.

I have compared the timing bearing (Genuine Made in Japan) with the OEM. The difference is that the OEM come with only the main part without the 2 smaller components (As shown in the pic in pg 1). May be that is why it is cheaper Basketball

KM servcing this is the final time i'm visiting them regardless how good some of the bros claim particular SA. Never met Wong as he is on course today.

Think they any how quote people. From phone quote me the price of the water pump to be S$100, but when i was there, they turn their words telling me the part cost $120 cyclops

For information. If intend to let KM service yr ride at 80k this is the breakdown of their labour charges. Of course, you can opt whether you want certain changes or not. I shall provide my own opinion after physically examine the removed part at 80k from my ride.

1. Basic Service S$48
(To replace engine oil & filter)

2. 80k required - power train S$112
(To replace fuel strainer)

3. 80k required - Control Mechanism system S$70

4. Replace all belting including timing belt S$130
replace water pump assy

Total labour charges S$360
