When we pop the hoods of our cars, we only have one thing in mind-more power. No matter how slow you might think your engine is, it's always capable of pumping out some serious ponies. For us enthusiasts, horsepower is an addiction more powerful than crack. One upgrade will keep you good for a little while, but at some point you're going to need more (and more). Intakes and exhaust only feel fast for so long. You'll need to dip into the top end and get some cams, maybe slap on a big turbo and port and polish your head. But you gotta do it the right way or you might end up wasting your hard-earned money-like buying bunk crack-and we don't want that. We hit up some of the top manufacturers and tuners to see what recipes they'd put together to make gains of 25, 50, 75 and 100 percent over your stock motor. If that's not enough, there are dudes like the Turbo Twins who tend to go a bit overboard. Still not fast enough for you? Then go buy a jet, homie.
