my dad is super stgingy when it comes to car... and my extended family has many mercs but all COE ones wahahahahahaha lol!

Your dad is smart.. cars are not worth the exhorbitant values here!
And COE ones also benzes considered high maintanence.... so still must got some mulah.. to drive em,, even though they hav seen better years...

I'd drool if it's the CL350/ CL550 or the new S Class or my personal work-it dream ride the C-Class coupe, but my uncles kept them for "sentimental values" heeeeeheheeee. saying that drivng an old merc beat driving a new jap make cos even if u buy a royal crown, pp think u down graded .... weird generation ....

Yea, our car prices here is expensive.

I think if i wanna afford a luxury car, the farthest i will go is probably a BMW 5 series.

Ehmm, frankly although LS430 had more functions inside n ride more powerful, LS400 encounter less technical problems and i personally feels handling is better.

But my oldman now in retiring stage so downgraded to driving a cefiro. Sad
