Calling for Cars signups for CHARITY DRIVE on December 9th

Dear all

We are not calling for MONEY or DONATIONS. We hope to create a formal CHARITY drive with informal car clubs. We really need your precious time and vehicles. This is for a very good cause but unfortunately we only have about 20 car sign ups now from the Toyota guys only. We definitely look forward to Honda joining us for this meaningful event.

The Boys’ Brigade Sharity Gift Box enters into its 19th year in 2006 with its fundamental goal of spreading festive cheer to the needy by enforcing the role of social responsibility from the nation.



Beneficiaries of the Boys’ Brigade Sharity Gift Box includes welfare agencies registered with the National Council of Social Service (NCSS), needy Singaporeans receiving Public Assistance (PA) from the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS), needy and disadvantaged children registered with Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWOs) under NCSS, poor families registered with VWOs under NCSS and elderly registered with VWOs under NCSS.



This year, we hope to deliver food hampers to more than 2,700 Singaporeans on the Public Assistance scheme. For the past years, the active participation from car clubs to help deliver gifts to the beneficiaries has been phenomenal and we are looking forward to your continuous support in this charity programme. We like to invite your car club to join us at the BBSGB Flag Off on 9 December 2006 to officiate the delivery of the first batch of gifts to the beneficiaries.

Time: 11:30 am

Venue: East Coast Park Carpark



Participants are required to visit The Boys’ Brigade Headquarters, 105 Ganges Avenue Singapore 169695 between 2 December and 8 December 2006 to pick up 5 sets of food hampers and a list of 5 addresses for delivery on 9 December 2006.
