also heard thsat CS5 engine is weak. hmmmmm..... sorry bro, cs5 is the normal lancer i thot shld b able to rite?? errr think u are talking about the CS3.
cos this CMI bro in law of mine sold his Maz6 and told me he bought a lancer ralliaret turbo, and posted around for fellow CS5 owner oh so it's a lancer ralliart turbo ah? in that case i don't think so, unless u oso lup a low boost turbo, can increase abt 20 bhp, then can match I test drove a Airtrek Turbo before.... Ours cannot compare... Pickup may win but once turbo cut in, we eat smoke and cry.... pls lor, airtrek cc so big, pickup can't even match ar, don't even mention the turbo... even FD 2.0l we lose like mad... | |

also heard thsat CS5 engine is weak. hmmmmm..... Finally a Technical thread! First of all talk is cheap. Let's compare a stock to stock car. 1.6 Litre ES5 vs 1.6 Litre CS3 (I think) Lancer Displacement 1584 cc Max Output 79(106)/6,000kW(PS)/rpm Max Torque 142(14.5)/2,750N-m(kg.m)/rpm Kerb Weight 1,085kg Civic1.6l SOHC VTEC 110ps Torque : 152? Max weight 1000+ also Looking at the hp and the torque ratings, I will say the ES has no problems in overtaking a lancer. However, take note that the difference will not be much, after all it's just a few horses more. I believe, in the higher RPM, the Honda VTEC part will help in the overtaking
