| What a spectacular crash...
the car obviously lost control at a very high speed... smashed left into the guardrails... and spun a few more times before stopping in the middle of the road on the second/third lane.
Air Bag Deployed...
One front wheel plus shock absorber/spring left on the road shoulder...
this one is a TOTAL LOSS.....
and we were convoying up to Changi Village at 11.30 pm ++... delayed us quite a bit... traffic was doing 2kmh to look at the carnage... and to filter left and right to avoid the main wreckage...
some of us even had to run over the dropped bumper - which by the way already chui chui and flat already la... so no real issue about damaging our rides...
phew... bad luck for driver man... hope he's ok...

| I hope that everyone who meets an accident and survives learns a lesson. Many a times, it not about the car. Lousy awareness because bad mood, tiredness, etc can cause a wrong judgement or reaction. We all know our rides limitations in our peak awareness, normal awareness, but tend to not realise them when we're in the wrong frame of thought. | |

| i can only agree up to a point. many younger drivers these days... know very little technical knowledge about their cars...
it's worse when they grew up playing PlayStation or XBox and did not ride bicycles very much...
they have no idea where is the real live limit to mechanical things, and the skill was never honned through the bicycle crashes (they never ride enough so how to really have heart stopping scares and crashes on bicycles?)
they only want to go fast. faster, faster still, until like ps or xbox games... crash, just press reset button.. on they continue...
it's no offence to our younger driver brudders here... not all are so 'blur one' but it's not the blur ones who crash... it's those who got money to mod and blur but dunno they are blur who crash...
Yes , a momentary lapse is 90% of crashes. But this magnitude of a crash means going insanely fast and have a lapse of concentration... hmmm...
in that case, he has 8 pot brakes, front and rear on 360mm brake rotors and slicks (dry condition) oso cannot stop ...
the local authorities shud make it compulsory for people who pass the basic driving test to take ongoing defence driving course, and track driving course...
it's the 'illegal' thing that is so attractive... make them speed until they puke... and learn all the driving skills to handle skids, slides, power drifts, etc ... and crash umpteen times on track and for real... see whether they still wanna do it or not on the road ...
 | |

Hehe, then you should teach them more about their cars. I just hope that it's not another idiot that cause that car to make an evasive reaction and crash. But that my also implies that he is speeding.

IT MEANS YOU SUAY MEANS SUAY... !!! Just drive with care and make decisive decisions... If you wanna drive fast its your perogative but know the consiquences...! All my previous incidents were due to another drivers neglect... go figure.
