| Hi bros, I'm a newbie at this, so need some clarification on this balancing thing. Is it neccessary to do balancing everytime i take in/out the wheels? Is there a standard timing to do this (eg: every 10k)? And high speed balancing. Can clarify whether is this necessary? My case and what should i do...I just changed my brakes recently. This involves taking in-out my wheels at least 2 times, maybe more. After which, i'm experiencing vibrations on my steering wheel, after 70km/h. My last balancing was done at 25k, and now my mileage is 35k. To solve my vibration problem, what should i do? | |

| go back to Peter and tell him the problem.
he can do alignment check for you
after that go to the tyreshop you got your tyres from to do balancing of tyres/high speed balancing.
If Poh Heng, forget it, go to somewhere else and pay for the service - ask before doing.
If alignment is done by Peter and it no longer 'vibrates' den no need to do tyre/wheel balancing leow...
but do consult Peter first.

| Hi bro,
Thanks for your reply. Just to check, is the process for normal balancing & High speed balancing the same?
Thanks. | |

| It is different from wat i know. High speed balancing only carry out to the front 2 tyres... (becoz we are FF) front wheel drive? Normal balancing is those done on the machine with 2 small screens... for 4 wheels when u change/rotate ur tyres. | |

| Just an update on my problem. I went back to KM service centre, and ask them to do a through check for me. The vibration and the noise, apparently come from a non-properly fitted spring. Hmm.... maybe going back to stock. Any takers for my spring? | |

| After a month's usage with the springs, i'm not very satisfied with the height. True, its ideal (1.5 finger), but after going thru several humps and feeling the huge KNOCK on my exhaust pipe... i tink i better go back to stock.
Coilovers? hmm... see how. Maybe on my planning list for my next upgrade. hehe..

I am on Eibach at the moment now, still yet to change. Eibach pro-kit or sports? I suppose with 1.5 finger shld be eibach sports... unless we talking abt diff finger size? Lolx... U shld check to ensure it is installed properly... i m on B+G, raised my mid-pipe too... so far no problems clearing high humps except few exceptional case on very steep slope areas...

Hi whitefangz, i raised the midpipe at Man Exhaust... for 20 bucks! ard 15mins job. But they advised while reversing your car, beware not to hit the exhaust tip, as it may caused the whole exhaust to warp/bend? Dunno how true, but so far so good for me! Lolx

As far as i remember from the box, it states as the pro-kit. hehe... maybe my fingers a bit fat though. There was once when i was reversing, i hit my exhaust pipe. The pipe got bent, and my exhaust 'box' (sorry for using an incorrect term) got damaged, thus a crack emerged. In the end, i took out the entire exhaust and changed it to an aftermarket brand though not TP-friendly. I love the sound now when in high-revs. hehe.
