| Just got back from the town council(TC) in Seng Kang. Was taken aback by the reply that was given:
Loading & Unloading bay is meant for load & unload things/goods from car, when you move the things/goods from that place to your house is call: DELIVERY not loading/unloading.
Let me tell you guys what happen and need advise on whether to bring this issue to press or leave it.
One fine Saturday afternoon I came home from picking up my kid and after going to supermarket and reach home at 4.00pm. After I pick the things up to my place and re-pack to bring to another place, I came down about 410pm. My family was holding on to bags of foods from my maid to my kids, all of us are carrying bags. We saw the parking warden almost finishing keying in summon. I ran over trying to stop her, she saw me running and quickly finish summon and press print button as I was talking to her.
Her words: My duty is to issue not to listen to explanations’. Whatever issue, please bring back to Town Council.
She claim that my car was there since 310pm when I am over in Tampines at that point of time.
So bopian, took the summon. Wrote to TC, they rejected the appeal. So i wrote again, they rejected again. Today I meet a guy from TC, he was very cool.....that was what he thought of himself.....CENTRE BOTAK MEAN CENTRE BOTAK LA....still try to use whatever balance of his hair to cover his head.....
He just said this: Loading/unloading bay are meant to load/unload....when you leave car unattended...means you parked....don't care if you park for 5mins or 10mins....parking mean parking.....when you bring things/goods up to the place /house, it is consider as delivery.....not unloading.....
Then I ask how the warden records that I was there since 310pm and what proves are there to show me that I was there….guess what his reply is: Then do you have prove to show that you are not there.
I am now leave with no choice but to pay the summon….but I damn pissed as the warden saw me with a lot of bags and still summon me….. | |

| Plan A - next time..take a pic of the WARDEN. Then lodge a complaint..in this way there is PROOF. Plan B - Meet MP session if you think the SUMMONS worth waiving it off! Pls note this a ONE time off from MP. think abt it. | |

| last time u complain, likely will get waived, cos all civil servants and they have to be "for the people" or at least pay lip service to that since they take so much of our money. but now "private" sector doing it, so the govt, in order not to interfere with the economy (oh, no, no that would make us a socialist or communist dictorship, or corrupt), cannot intercede on the behalf of common sense or good faith. we must defer to capitalism, and respect private commerce. pay ur fine. | |
