| Thanks for coming in.
Firstly, apart from the bias initial remarks by some of our bros here, you will find that drivers of ES are generally of a mature profile. We are mostly working adults. That said, we are not unreasonable.
This thread would NOT be locked unless it gets personal.
Now that you have come in, I would urge all ES bros or for that matter any reader to this thread to refrain from name calling for no reasons - me included!
The reason that made me went over the bmw-sg to check out your posting is due to the fact that you followed this Roscharh home and came out of your car to confront. I believe you know the law well enough. Guess you know what I mean. That - no matter how angry you were constitute to probable road rage. For now, let's KIV that part.
He had his side of the story and you had yours. So it's your words against his.
No other bros in this forum were there.
In my opinion, both of you can discuss till next year and there may be no agreement on the actual incident the transpired.
So. Why not do it one of the following ways:
(1) forgive and forget and maybe have a chance to greet each other and say hi or even sorry (whatever)
(2) keep the stalemate now and look out for each other and get even soon, on the road, at each others' car park etc
(3) meet up and talk, hope to settle it easy ... if still can't solve the problem then go to (2) (this half of the option not recommended of course!)
My 2 cents worth: it seems like both have something to say. both may be in the wrong to a certain extend without realising it. so it all depends on the both of you to decide how much you want to compromise and how much you wanna take back.
Note: Roscharh is a supporter of this forum so that's why I got to know the incident. Normally such matters are spoken and forgeotten but since this particular one involved police reports from both sides and also spanned a few forums due to the car circle being "small" in Singapore, I felt that I have to "help" out in getting the incident resolved or justified.
May I urge all bros at TeamES to be fair in your words. Do not be bias. While we are objective about the whole thing from here on, no more TCSS or name calling to add oil in the fire, I would also ensure that this will not be allowed to blown out of proportion into some inter-team feud or personal grudge match.
All involved, please say your views - diplomatically please.
Peace to all. | |

| The whole incident happened on a evening along Bukit Timah road. I was travelling at the legal speed limit on the extreme right lane when suddenly this lancer came at a very high speed and started glueing to my rear.
You cut in from the middle lane without signalling. Did you check your blind spot/rear view mirror? I was already on the right lane.
I dun know what he was trying to do perhaps some stunts to show off his car?? I increased my speed trying 2 overtake the vehicle at my left and filter in and let him pass. Just at this moment when i was about to filter in this lancer performed another stunt zig zag into the centre lane which is very dangerous I signalled and filtered left not zig zag. If I zig zagged, I would have ended up back in the right lane. You didn't indicate that you were going to filter and I don't think I can read your mind so I wouldn't know if you're "trying" to filter in. As a matter of fact, you not ONCE did you signal your intentions. Were your side indicators not working?
To the lancer driver do u know how dangerous was for you to perform that act what happen if your car lose control it would have started spinning and would have hit my car. For goodness sake i really cant imagine what would have happen if he hit my car with a 3 months infant inside!!!
Please don't exagerrate. The car won't spin at 70km/h on dry road since you were driving at the LEGAL limit and I was behind you.
Next we came to a halt at the traffic light junction. As it turned green we moved on i was only on half throttle and he claimed he was ahead of me. I cant be bothered to race with him at all. Mine is a family sedan i really dun understanding the point of winning or losing. A car is basically for one to get from point A to B. Next the most scary part came in as his front was about half ahead of me this lancer tried to filter left to my side trying to push me to hit the kerb.
There was more than 1 lane available so please, don't pretend. You were already tailing me from Bt Timah Road when I overtook you. I was BESIDE YOU and never claimed to be INFONT of you when you started drifting right into the SECOND LANE from the LEFT while under the PIE flyover. That was when I full-throttled and PASSED you because you were coming closer and closer to me.
I had to brake to avoid a collision. At that time i was really furious when i saw him raced away. I high beamed him and horned at him was to ask him to stop and give him some scolding on how dangereous he drove. He refused to stop and sped off all the way.
Not once after passing you did I speed at any time. I even signalled everywhere I was turning. However, you following behind me didn't signal AT ALL given the number of turns we had to make and even ran the RED light along Jln Jurong Kecil and Jln Rajawali.
IF HE DIDNT DO ANYTHING WRONG WHY MUST HE SPEED OFF IN A DANGEROUS AND RECKLESS WAY OF DRIVING??? I have no choice but followed him all the way to highlight on how dangerous he was hoping he would wake up his mind and dun do the same thing to other road users.
If you wanted to highlight the dangerous way I was driving, you wouldn't have said "YOU KNOW WHO I AM???" and "YOU THINK YOU DRIVING EVO AH?" The second sentence - means you're condoning the actions if I drive an EVO? Besides, I don't know who you are. All I know is that you're the one driving recklessly by NOT indicating your intentions to turn or filter at all. | |

| Well as one says i have my version of story and you have your version of story. This thing would never end if we continue. Life is short, why dun spend more time on other quality matters rather than all these nonsence.Thinking back of what had happened, i didnt even wanted to post your details while for your side you tried to make it a big issue. Im sure incidents like these happened everyday and if everyone started posting im sure forum would be jammed packed with flaming. | |

| Frankly, I would have wanted to invite all those who has an stake in this incident to join us at our weekly mmetup. if there's sincere intention to settle stuff amicably then that is probably the only way. but from the exchange which I saw, there are different intentions and wavelengths thus my own conclusion on the matter. anyways, if the involved party are still interested to pursue further, then this Friday is at West Mac. peaceout. | |

| Lets just let the matter drop. I'm willing to do something that's definitely more constructive than to carry on this since we both have our own versions of the story. However, My Kelvar, please signal your intentions in future to avoid misunderstandings such as these. I will remove my blowoff valve and replace it with a silent plumb back since it's obvious that people think that I'm trying to "play" with them on the roads whenever it so much as squeaks. To show you that I'm sincere in resolving this, lets meet up on friday at west coast macs and we can maybe share something about this experience to others. no worries, it's a public place and it won't get ugly for I abhor violence and confrontations of any sort. Cheers. | |
