| bro Xiaonick Pls help newbies confirm... need to bring their own helmet - else wear the loaner ones prepare to puke... STINK worse than our SSDC helmets... prepare RM$$. Go Karts rental is RM$50 deposit, RM$40 per 20 minute session or more if you upgrade/mod your Kart... i personally go for the $50 per session kart... more power, more speed, more power... those coming in slippers better have shoes standby... else any accident no toe i dunno... plus you need to step the brake well la... slippers will cause accidents... barefoot can... if you dare...dun say you dunno... tell you already. sunglasses... a must... ok helmet... full face is preferred, or open face with face shield is a must... Karting not like tracking.. you inside car with windshield... karting you no windshield... you only got your face to eat the sand and stones kicked up by the front kart... it WILL HURT... just so you know... if you wanna wear gloves no one will laugh at you... better grip... oh yeah... you can go up to 5 sessions if you want... just have enough RM to pay lor... oh one last thing... do bring your own refreshments... no MAC nearby at all... do bring your cameras wif movie mode... can take you zooming past... haha quite fun. | |

| Wa say.... three days later no body signs up... XiaoNick... welcome ... i oso face the same problem when first advocating going to Sepang Track... or PG sprint nite... you got to do a lot more face to face convincing... come for more meetups and sell your koyok... let them see the sincerity in your eyes... maybe more will sign up after your personal invitation... like dat jio in here quite useless lor... they won't jump in one... all scared kena TIPU.... btw, now, many are convinced it's FUN to drive on a racetrack... they will go PG or Sepang when the time comes... you better be ready for them and join in else you left out leow... | |

| Go to the tracks!!!! get to know your car better!!!! also know what you are good at and what you are not!!!! But go-kart is a good way to learn how to read the lines....so I suggest those who are thinking of going to the tracks, might want to go for this session first for a feel of tracking.... Nick, it is the same issue with Mark or myself, you got to follow up on those who you think will go, if not, you will be going alone....But as what Mark mention, there are a lot of people here knows what traaking is like and they enjoyed it, so I guess there will be a number who are interested to go but maybe they are shy....just need a little push, they will go.... | |
