| i paid around 120 for a piece, tyres r not bad la... much less noise compared to my previous RE010. to me its a well balanced street tyre for both dry and wet but i dun think its suitable for track. | |

Point to note that if you are on camber settings the rotational thread is only front to back or vice versa... not left to right... FYI only..

| the RE001 is unidirectional, with only the requirement that one side faces out becos of the thread pattern. because this tyre is only offered in ONE thread pattern, and unidirectional, you CAN rotate the tyres to both sides of the car... meaning on one side, the tyre threads are rolling backwards... you can cross rotate this tyre. which is why i have doubts about it performing on track... street tyre... definitely... but with a grippy compound and good water groves. this design is way better than the RT615, which is side AND direction sensitive, that means only can rotate back and forth, but cannot do a cross rotate even if you swap the rims to do it to 'wear' it evenly on steeply cambered cars... but the RT is track ready... quite different imho. not better, just different application ba. I'd go for the RE01R anytime if i am going for Bridgestones... or if got fat bonus, the 048s The Turtle - MCDS | |

Maybe u can check wif him... think he shld be cheaper! His RE01R 15" is about $120 each...
