| Question: How much wld you spend on a set of tires..? Question: How much wld you spend on oil..? WTF,..! I for one believe that talk is cheap... if you are willing to spend proly 400-near800bux for tires,,.. what's 60 to 70bux extra for your oil..!!? Good grief... I guess it boils down to your personal levels of comfort... I for one do not spare the pocket, be it engine oils or tires... borrow... knn.. borrow lan ah... geeez...! | |

I think this oil is pretty good (butt feel).
Perhaps after your next oil change can try this oil out and do a comparison. Tried... KIC beats it hands down... Not even near KIC.. but its a good oil though... try duckham next round. can last 20k or 30k. those big drum one, usually 18L. 2 pistons melt, all bearing gone i still can happily drive around, hahahahahha

| I'd not mind trying the KIC... if it's a racing grade oil... but seen some bottles for touring... so not sure what to put... in any case, used V300 for 10,000 km before draining... inclusive 16 laps in Sepang... no percieved problem for me leh... and oil was good to the touch and smell at the dip stick before draining... it could prolly last another 5,000 km ba... imho, and with NO facts and NO lab tests whatsoever... totally butt and finger feel... Worth every penny of the $90++ bucks bot on special offer... Now on Excellium... also very good for long drain interval... and keep going up to redline for fun... not bad... for a $70 per 4 litre oil... gonna try redline 5W-20 next see whether can go 15,000 km on it or not... heh heh... but still some way to go before draining the Elf oil... KiC got to wait a while... maybe upgrade to change for track trial the 30 wt one... | |

KiC got to wait a while... maybe upgrade to change for track trial the 30 wt one... KIC 10w40 17 rounds in PG and travelled till 11820 and changed... result from eye and feel... could have lasted for another 2k plus... From a very old hand at PG and Sepang WRX'er... good enuf for me... Worth every cent and drop... pleasantly surprised with the performance! My opinion, one of the few good oils for an ES...

if not dun bother... they are 100% fully mineral oil, from alaska mountain:bounce: . not bad leh, from the day u know me untill today, that's the only official oil i use. engine never breakdown due to the oil or anything else till today. and the way i use my engine, think 2,3 times tougher than most ppl. good, u change it every 3000 or 5000km, u won't have any problem. one time ah heng sponsered me the motul 300v or mugen i forget, smooth at first, but after 1000km, feel same as my lorry oil. after this first 1000km run in, i might try KIC, everyone says it's damm good.
