STOMPer JT sent these photos of the scene of an accident involving three cars at the junction of Clementi Road and Ulu Pandan Road at about 4am today (14 Oct).

"Three-car collision between a Lotus Elise, Nissan and a Mercedes cab at the junction of Clementi Road and Ulu Pandan road occurred about 4am on 14th Oct 2007," the STOMPer said in an email today.

"There were bad injuries but no casualties during the time when the ambulance arrived," JT said.

STOMP contacted the Police, which said it received a call at about 3.50am about an accident involving three cars at the junction of Clementi Road and Ulu Pandan Road.

"Two passengers were sent to the National University Hospital. Both were conscious," a spokesman said.

I think the Cefiro was turning right. Being a P Plate driver, he could have been turning too slow or fast not checking opposite direction

The Merc cab coming from opposite direction was speeding (possibly with the Lotus) hit the Cefiro while turning it was turning right. The merc cab hit the cerfiro's Left rear (You can see the damage). The impact propelled Cefiro to the lampost. Look at the cefiro, it had damaged on the left and the right side. IMHO, the left side of the car is due to the merc cab. The right side is due to the lampost.

The Lotus could had tried to avoid the Merc or Cefiro and ending up into the lamppost.

Confirm all speeding, too sleepy, drunk or overconfident.

Lotus turning from Clementi Rd into Holland Rd..

Nissan coming fast along Clementi Rd from Sunset way towards Clementi direction.. Merc cab following close behind

Either Lotus or Nissan at fault for beating the red light....

Anyway, As Lotus turned into Holland Rd... Nissan smashed into it..

Merc Cab cannot braked in time and smashed into the back of Nissan....Pushing Nissan and Lotus sideway towards the a lamp post

Anyway, there is a red light camera at that junction.... the truth is out there...
