It is a single din head unit. Pic can be found in the internet easily.

with CDT 62 2 way copmponent
active setup
custom pods
12" cadence flash subs
rear planet audio - diabled due to active setup
ipod
cadence Q amp
VDO dayton amp

let's just say 9855 is an above average setup and help me do away with my preamp asnd extra rear field

I'm on 9855. Tuning is very versatile on it's own. I was deciding between P80RS vs 9855. In the end got the 9855 because of the 6 TA and Crossover presets. Allows the tuner to tune some settings and yet leave some for myself to play around with. I think local Alpine distributes the non RDS model, while P80 should be RDS. So you'll have to name the radio stations on your own on the 9855.

Radio Data System. Text messages carried over FM signals. Some countries like UK have traffic anouncements (TA) carried on this system. In Singapore, we just have station naming.

P80 has an advantage from "tunability" wise,it comes with more band of eq too.Again...hows the sound comes alike always depends on hows ur installer's tuning skill.

alpine has a new cda 9887 to replace the 9855

may be can check this HU got, around the same price with P80

jus my 2 cents worth, currently i'm using 9855 and i would say its good enuff for basic staging. if want to bring out more, it boils down to amps and if got budget add 701 processor which would definately improve the entire setup.
