| Hi bro, thanks for letting us discuss your situation. Let me add in my piece here. I feel that when they change battery they DID do a connect. that's why my headunit's setting is ok. But they must have done something to reset or teach the ecu somehting. either a routine flash procedure or idle the vehicle too long. i noticed that idling the vehicle for a prolong period of time retard the vehicle. esp so for auto. And I've heard rumours that sometimes the mechs do use your head unit to blast music while they work on other cars or have lunch. piggy back mappings do not get override that way. one more possiblity is the new batt is diff from the old batt so causes a diff in feeling. - butt feel maybe Another possible area is the engine oil. nothing to do with your battery here. i noticed that Shell Helix is indeed a F***up oil. somewhat like u need to run it for a week or so to "smoothen it". I'm not using it anymore. My very last svs with KM was at Jurong. and uses OWS racing NA. when i drove off, I do not have this "power lost" feel anymore as when I left the car there for a whole afternoon. in fact the car felt even more fun to drivde after a week or so. ( aside: engine oil does need to run in, and once it runs in, the its true feel can be experienced) fishy huh | |

fishy huh ======================== Thanks for your reply bro. I was there (in Jurong) when they changed the battery, took about 10 mins. Didn't do anything else. After I drove off, I felt the difference immediately. I was there not to service the car but to change the battery only.... si bei sian now... | |
